Ability to monitor Kubernetes Disk Usage?

Our team is actively working on New Relic integration with our Kubernetes clusters, and we’ve noticed that the alert condition for Kubernetes only contains desired pods, CPU usage, and memory usage. Are there plans to integrate disk usage in the future, or perhaps there’s some setup configuration we missed?

Hi @cescoba,

This is a good question! Although I can’t provide a timeline, our engineering team is actually discussing right now adding disk usage to the alerting options for Kubernetes.

As each node is actually being monitored by Infrastructure, an alternative method that might work is to set up a Storage metrics alert condition, scoped to the hosts and disks you’re interested in.
