I have separated this post from the original post as the workings here is slight different.
Account 2591165 is a V2 account, meaning it has a self service option for deletion. However for security purposes you must follow certain steps. These steps are highlighted in the below post and New Relic doc.
Also the below are requirements to have completed before any account deletion is possible ( these steps are mentioned in the shared links above );
- All agents must stop reporting/sending data to New Relic
- All notification channels must be deleted
- All users, besides an Admin, must be removed from the account
- If SSO is enabled, please delete the integration.

It sounds like a great system but I created this account a while ago to do a test but I never got to use it.
