Browser not reporting requests during local development/localhost

Browser Question Template

I can confirm that requests are going out to the New Relic API from the copy/pasted agent. Sessions are being recorded from the deployed app, but not when running locally. The requests are still going out, but there is no record of them on the Browser dashboard.

Both Chrome and Firefox behave the same. So I figure it has something to do with the account configuration. I see no reference to any domain restrictions having been applied. So I am not sure what the issue might be.

Hi, @jneander: When you load the page in your local browser, you might try viewing the page source and confirming that the New Relic Browser agent is present. Look for “NREUM” in a script near the top of the page. Some ad blocking extensions prevent the agent from downloading.

It is confirmed present and reporting through the network in both browsers.

Hi @jneander,

Would you be able to give us a screenshot of the entire contents of one of those POST requests so we can see the details? If you’re not comfortable posting it publicly we can start a ticket for you.
