Can APM get the DNS resolve time?

We’re on trialing the APM, and can see the response time, what’s response time include? resolve dns time 、network establish time and data transfer time?

Hi, @devops90: New Relic APM measures execution time on the application server: Essentially, it starts a timer at the beginning of your server-side code, stops it at the end, and reports the elapsed time. By the time the APM agent starts its timer, client-side events, such as DNS lookup, are already over.

If you want to measure performance from the browser, you should use New Relic Browser or Synthetics, which query the browser to measure client-side metrics such as page load time, DNS lookup time, etc.
