No data reporting for this application

I installed the agent as described.
I modified selinux rules so that php-fpm can access the socket
I added the application name into the ini file.
I restarted apache/php-fpm
I got no data.

So I removed the RPMs, cleaned up any leftovers and reinstalled
I added the application name into the ini file.
I restarted apache/php-fpm
This time around I noticed that “PHP Application” had sent data. But that after restarting apache/php-fpm it was once again unable to send data.

Does anyone have any suggestions as to how I could track this down?

While I have a full guide here:

I’d start with a phpinfo() page to make sure that FPM is loading the New Relic extension. If the FPM binary is in a nonstandard location the installer may not have placed the in the correct location. When this happens, the command line php may be creating some connections you are seeing with “PHP Application”.
