Explorers Hub in Read Only mode for Site Improvements on August 1

Hello Explorers! :rocket:

We’re always working to make the Community better. We want the Explorers Hub to be fun, informative, and easy to use. To help us achieve those goals we’re updating our sign-on authorization process so that when you’re logged in to New Relic, you’re logged into the Community. It will be as easy as that.

In order to make this change, we need to freeze the current instance of the Explorer’s Hub while the update is made. That means that during our deployment, you’ll be able to read - but not post - in the Explorers Hub. Here are the details you need to know:

  • Date/time of change: August 1st at 5am PDT.
  • Duration: 12 hours, until approximately 5pm PDT.
  • Impact: The Explorers Hub will be in read-only mode, meaning you won’t be able to post.

We’ll get things up and running and back to normal as quickly as possible, and will update this post once the work is complete. Once the change is complete everything besides the sign-on process should look and feel the same.
