Hi there @danicuki, and welcome back to the community!

We definitely want to get you up and running on Infrastructure. Can you please share what version of Ubuntu you are using?

#3

We are running Ubuntu 16.04

#4

Hi @danicuki,

I’d like you to try uninstalling the Infrastructure agent and cleaning out your repo, then doing a full reinstall. This will rule out having the incorrect repo installed. Please try the following, tailored specifically for Ubuntu 16.04:

Uninstall

  1. Uninstall: sudo apt-get remove newrelic-infra
  2. Clear out the repo: sudo rm -r /etc/apt/sources.list.d/newrelic-infra.list

Reinstall:

  1. I assume you already have your config file set up with your license key in it. However, if you haven’t done that yet, please enter echo "license_key: YOUR_LICENSE_KEY" | sudo tee -a /etc/newrelic-infra.yml
  2. curl https://download.newrelic.com/infrastructure_agent/gpg/newrelic-infra.gpg | sudo apt-key add -
  3. printf "deb [arch=amd64] https://download.newrelic.com/infrastructure_agent/linux/apt xenial main" | sudo tee -a /etc/apt/sources.list.d/newrelic-infra.list
  4. sudo apt-get update
  5. sudo apt-get install newrelic-infra -y

Let us know if this helps or if you’re still encountering difficulties.
