Feature Idea: Bubble up inner exception messages

#1

We’ve been getting errors in our APM which are unhandled exceptions. Which is fine, but when you look at the APM log, it simply shows what the inner exception type is, but not what the inner exception message is.

Example: https://rpm.newrelic.com/accounts/417057/applications/4962443/traced_errors/3475736160?original_error_id=3475761191

Hopefully something as simple as innerException.ToString() would be enough?

We take feature ideas seriously and our product managers review every one when plotting their roadmaps. However, there is no guarantee this feature will be implemented. This post ensures the idea is put on the table and discussed though. So please vote and share your extra details with our team.

Hi @TTL_DHouweling - this isn’t available at the moment. I’ve gone ahead and send off a feature request to our product managers.

Old but still a thing for us too - is this still on any roadmap?
