Feature Idea: Enhanced Wildcard Support in NRQL

We would like to have the LIKE operator from the WHERE clause in NRQL [1] updated to allow for more enhanced search capabilities.

In other query languages, like Transact-SQL [2] there is support for wildcard literals [3]. It would streamline queries to be able to do similar in NRQL. Bonus points for actual Regular Expression support that extends beyond the wildcard literal example.

Current Query Example:
SELECT count(*) FROM SystemSample FACET entityName WHERE ( hostname LIKE 'ws%' OR hostname LIKE 'ls%' )

Requested Enhancement Example:
SELECT count(*) FROM SystemSample FACET entityName WHERE hostname LIKE '[lw]s%'
