We take feature ideas seriously and our product managers review every one when plotting their roadmaps. However, there is no guarantee this feature will be implemented. This post ensures the idea is put on the table and discussed though. So please vote and share your extra details with our team.

Hi @suyash.garg - this is a great feature request. Could you outline examples using some Insights events to provide the product team with your use cases?

@suyash.garg - @stefan_garnham is correct. We do not currently support subqueries. I am turning this into a feature idea for you and sharing with our product team. If you have more details you can share, our teams would love to hear it!

Here is the example I wanted to run:

SELECT average(SELECT sum(duration) from Transaction where http.SessionId is not null FACET http.SessionId)

From this question: Get an average of sums

However, I am only evaluating New Relic (not a customer) so my use case may not be one to fully consider yet.

Hey @stephen.schaff - I just responded on your other thread -> I’ve got your feedback passed along in our feature request for nested queries.
