FLEX: can flex process csv returned by an API call? (eg salesforce eventlog)

I have a setup Flex to integrate into Saleforce to retrieve a list of eventlogs in JSON format.
I then store the path of each eventlog to a Flex variable.
I then make an api call to retrieve the eventlog, however the body of the response is in csv format.
Can I still use Flex to process this csv? Most user cases deals with processing csv from a file, and not from http response, so would like to know if this is possible.

@michael.lee4 Sorry you have been waiting awhile for a response from our community. I’m going to bring this back to the attention of our support team. Thanks for your patience!

Hey @michael.lee4, With the flex integration you can get any metrics as long as it is pooling from an api or http endpoint.

With Flex, you can instrument any app that exposes metrics over a standard protocol (HTTP, file, shell) in a standard format (for example, JSON or plain text). Flex can take any input using data source APIs, process it through functions, and send metric samples to New Relic.

Hope this clarifies!
