How to get Network throughput of unique servers?

insights

#1

I have two hosts ,and i am getting the data of one of the host based on the following query.

SELECT average(transmitBytesPerSecond / 1024) AS ‘Transmitted’,
average(receiveBytesPerSecond / 1024) AS ‘Received’
FROM NetworkSample SINCE 60 minutes ago TIMESERIES

I want the network throughput of both the hosts with the name of the host beside transmitted and receive column.

SELECT average(transmitBytesPerSecond / 1024) AS 'Transmitted',
average(receiveBytesPerSecond / 1024) AS 'Received'
FROM NetworkSample SINCE 60 minutes ago FACET hostname

Thankyou for the response. Based on the query you have given, I am getting the following result.

I want a graph in a TIME SERIES format based on the above data. I am attaching a reference image for what exactly i want.

Insights cannot display multiple values (transmitted, received) for multiple entities as a timeseries chart. You will have to create a separate chart for each value:

SELECT average(transmitBytesPerSecond / 1024) AS 'Transmitted'
FROM NetworkSample SINCE 60 minutes ago FACET hostname TIMESERIES

SELECT average(receiveBytesPerSecond / 1024) AS 'Received'
FROM NetworkSample SINCE 60 minutes ago FACET hostname TIMESERIES

Thankyou very much. That is exactly what I wanted.
