Beginning on February 28, 2022, New Relic will block data ingest from the regions referred to as the Donetsk People’s Republic and the Luhansk People’s Republic (the “DNR” and “LNR”).
What does this change mean?
If users have been sending data to New Relic Properties from these regions, that data will no longer be received in the New Relic Properties on and after February 28, 2022.
Why is this change happening?
As previously discussed in this blog post from March, 2021, New Relic’s products, services, software, websites, forums, pages or systems (“New Relic Properties”), including information shared on them by New Relic and other contributors, may be subject to U.S. export control laws. New Relic takes its duties to comply with these laws seriously.
On February 22, 2022, the U.S. government restricted transactions with individuals and entities in the DNR and LNR, as well as with individuals and entities named on U.S. sanctions lists.
If New Relic determines users, accounts, etc., are located in sanctioned regions, or otherwise being used in violation of U.S. export control laws, New Relic reserves the right to restrict access to New Relic Properties in order to comply with these requirements. These restrictions may extend to users and accounts outside of the sanctioned areas.
This information is provided for your convenience; it is ultimately your responsibility to ensure that your use of New Relic Properties complies with all applicable laws and regulations, including U.S. export laws.
