Integrate two server metrics into a single one

Hi folks.
I have a web app that behind scenes is made of two servers (sort of fail-over), currently each server reports independently to New Relic in APM, we would like to see the metrics as a whole, I’ve reading the documentation and I am not sure if changing the parameter app_name to be the same in both servers (newrelic.yml file) would be the proper solution, thanks!

Hi, @leozu: Yes, setting the app_name to the same value on both servers should cause the data to be aggregated into a single APM application.

An alternative is to set the application alias in APM so that they match.
