Is the C++ source available for the Agent SDK?

We are looking at using the Agent SDK to instrument our C++ service but the source code isn’t available to be compiled with our compiler. Is there source code available or a documented REST API so that we could build a wrapper?

@andrew.moore the Agent SDK is only provided as a shared library at the moment. It’s possible to build a wrapper against the public methods available via the library, and you can read more about those in the documentation provided either in the distributed Agent SDK package or in our public documentation for the product:

https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/agents/agent-sdk/installation-configuration/instrumenting-your-code-agent-sdk

Although if your compiler doesn’t support the shared library format, then options are limited right now.

Could you provide a bit more detail about the compiler you’re using and the limitations you’re running into when using it with our Agent SDK’s libraries?
