Issue enabling New Relic Browser - "Copy/Paste Javascript Code"


When i try to enable new relic browswer , i get the below exception.
[Servlet Error]-[Faces Servlet]: javax.faces.view.facelets.FaceletException: Error Parsing /WEB-INF/view/
Error Traced[line: 165] Element type “n.length” must be followed by either attribute specifications, “>” or “/>”.

I am not even able to log into the app. as i pasted JS code in a common xhtml which will be used by all the screens in my application.


It sounds like you might want to add a CDATA tag around the Browser snippet to escape the script tag. The JavaScript snippet won’t pass XML validation, but you can flag it as character data to avoid evaluating it as XML.
