It’s that time of year again where we turn our attention to college basketball. :basketball::basketball: So let’s join the fun and have some March Mayhem of our own! This tournament’s purpose is to hear from Explorers about the New Relic features released in the past year they think are the best.

How Does it Work?

There will be four rounds:
Sweet(Lew) 16 (voting will open March 17)
Celebrate 8 (voting will open March 24)
Last 4 (voting will open March 31)
Finals (voting will open April 7)

We’ll choose one random voter from each round to win a special prize. And because we believe in democracy, feel free to lobby for your favorite features and increase the chance of your bracket being the big winner. Everyone who chooses the grand prize winner in their bracket will be entered to win our Grand Prize, a duffle bag full of goodies! :confetti_ball:

To participate download the bracket that has been provided below. Fill it out by matching up feature against feature. Upload your bracket to this post by 9 AM PDT March 17th.

Need help selecting your match-ups? We have you covered!

Our team, along with help from product managers, have put together short 2 minute videos about each feature.

What Happens Next?

Visit the Explorers Hub each week starting March 17th to vote for your favorite features.

Let the games begin! After you also read these important rules

Nice @asavage - I got your PDF added as a screenshot too to make things easier

It looks like Proactive Detection is the early favourite so far! Interesting!!

#6

Not everyone can edit pdf’s. How should we submit our votes?

#7

You’re free to use some other tool to screen capture the bracket and add text over it, @stefan_garnham

I know some organisations have stringent software regulations - but I hope you can find some way to make edits, perhaps using an online image editor to add your text, rather than a PDF editor.

Great to see these brackets and a common thread amongst which feature is being chosen as the winner. Reminder to get your bracket uploaded to this thread by March 15! :star_struck:

As NR Staff, I cannot win - but wanted to share my personal favourites:

I’m love proactive detection and all that NR AI is bringing, but my favourites take a different direction compared to most.
