Monitor Daemonsets Natively

Hi There , I am trying to get alerting on pods managed by Daemonset with New relic. Currently , there is only native support for Deployments , Replicasets and Pods for query ( and subsequent alerting ) , is there any workaround to be able to monitor daemonsets ? If I wanted to query to know if the pods that were part of it had issues and needed to alert specifically on it.

Any suggestions or clarification is welcome

Hi @KOfoegbu, I don’t think there is any direct way to do this at the moment, but you may be able to workaround using NRQL Alerts .

There are k8 Events that can be queried, it may be a bit of trial and error, but if you run into any issues just send on a **permalink ** and i’ll take a closer look for you
