MSSQL Branch Select

mssql
sqlserver

#1

Hi,

I have a long running sql request in my mssql bars that New Relic labels as “MSSQL Branch Select”. It never shows any sample queries to drill deeper, so it is just a box with a time.

Does anyone know what this MSSQL Branch Select is referring to? What would be an example?

Thank you!

@carsten.hess

Branch is the table name. So the metric MSSQL Branch Select may represent a query like this

SELECT  column1 ,  column2, ...
FROM  Branch ;

That’s just a made up example of course.

Could you provide a New Relic perma-link (bottom-right corner of most pages) to the page you are viewing? Only New Relic Support will be able to view the page.

Thanks!
