MySQL/MariaDB and Apache Integrations not reporting

#1

After running through the install processes for the MySQL and Apache Infrastructure agents and waiting for a day I’m still not seeing them as active. Another integration install for Redis was successful.

I’ve not found related errors yet but assume I’ve just not checked the correct logs. Where would these integrations most likely report errors?

The server is running WHM/Cpanel and EasyApache 4 is used to manage Apache Modules. mod_status was not available so I enabled mod_heartbeat instead. I assume this may be the issue with the Apache integration but I wanted to find out if this is correct.

Our infrastructure agent version is: 1.5.66

Here are the steps that I followed for each of the installs:

mysql integration install:
https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/integrations/host-integrations/host-integrations-list/mysql-monitoring-integration

sudo yum -q makecache -y --disablerepo='*' --enablerepo='newrelic-infra'
sudo yum install nri-mysql
sudo mysql -e "CREATE USER 'newrelic'@'localhost' IDENTIFIED BY '[obscured]';"
sudo mysql -e "GRANT REPLICATION CLIENT ON *.* TO 'newrelic'@'localhost' WITH MAX_USER_CONNECTIONS 5;"
cd /etc/newrelic-infra/integrations.d
sudo cp mysql-config.yml.sample mysql-config.yml
sudo nano mysql-config.yml
	-entered pwd from above
sudo systemctl restart newrelic-infra

apache integration install:
https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/integrations/host-integrations/host-integrations-list/apache-monitoring-integration

enabled mod_heartbeat via whm easyapache 4
-which added mod_watchdog, didn't see mod_status as an option
sudo yum install nri-apache
cd /etc/newrelic-infra/integrations.d
sudo cp apache-config.yml.sample apache-config.yml
sudo nano apache-config.yml
	-no changes
sudo systemctl restart newrelic-infra

Thanks!

Hey @jonathan26, You can check if there are any errors from the verbose Infrastructure logs:

Hope that helps!
