New Relic On-Boarding Video #7: Alerting on Performance Data

Customer On-Boarding - Getting Started with New Relic

Video #7: Alerting on Performance Data

You’ve seen how “views” (like the APM and Browser Overview pages) are one way to look at your software performance data. Now we’ll look at a “centralizing” area of New Relic - New Relic Alerts.

In this video, you’ll see how easy it is to start setting up alert policies and conditions, and to start receiving alert incidents over the channel (or channels!) of your choice.

You’ll see how easy it is to start building up a customized alert policy for yourself, then share it with your team as you start seeing problems they’d also want to know about. If you’re a software developer, you could share your policy with your IT/Ops team for ongoing monitoring - helping build good DevOps practices at your company.
