No performance data of my applications from New Relic

#1

Hi,
I’ve just installed New Relic server and java agent on my Linux Centos box. I can see the server data but nothing for my application and mySQL DB. I’ve tried running nrdiag and it did not report any error. I’ve attached screenshots for nrdiag and server display for your reference.

Hi @ahaw, New Relic uses the hostname to identify unique servers and to link servers to APM applications hosted on them. However in some cases the Java agent and Linux Server Monitor can detect slightly different hostnames, causing this linkage not to work as expected.

You can resolve this issue by editing your FQDN settings as described here: https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/agents/java-agent/troubleshooting/setting-hostname-reported-java-agent
