Nri-cassandra connection failures when using authentication

Hello,

I am experiencing an issue when trying to configure nri-cassandra when following the instructions here: https://docs.newrelic.com/docs/infrastructure/host-integrations/host-integrations-list/cassandra-monitoring-integration/#linux-install

I get the following error, when I test my connection with the following command:
bin/nri-cassandra -verbose -pretty -config_path /etc/newrelic-infra/integrations.d/cassandra-config.yml [DEBUG] Error querying org.apache.cassandra.metrics:type=ClientRequest,scope=*,name=Latency: error running nrjmx: Authentication error [WARN] empty result for query: org.apache.cassandra.metrics:type=ClientRequest,scope=*,name=Timeouts [DEBUG] Error querying org.apache.cassandra.metrics:type=ClientRequest,scope=*,name=Timeouts: nrjmx error: exit status 1 [proc-state: exit status 1] [FATAL] can't continue: nrjmx error: exit status 1 [proc-state: exit status 1]

After double/triple checking that my jmx user and password are correct, I am still unable to authenticate. I found a related conversation on this thread: https://discuss.newrelic.com/t/jmx-host-integration-no-metrics/86364/9 , but the thread was suddenly closed by @ebeach without any resolution, explanation or links to another thread if there was a solution to this.

Has anyone found a solution to this?
