A couple of weeks ago, we announced that we are working on a redesign of the community, including an update to how our categories work. I want to send a huge thank you to the folks who took the time to think through the changes with us and offer their advice.
We’ve finished up our drafts of the changes and are getting ready to begin an iterative set of changes to the site, culminating in a brand new look and feel, from top to bottom. We hope that these changes will make the Community easier to navigate for newcomers and better align with the New Relic look and feel that you are used to on our site and in our platform.
What’s Changing Now?
Starting Monday, September 11, we’ll start moving categories around. No posts will be deleted, but you may find that they live in a different category. Everything will still be searchable. This should not upset too many apple carts, but please let us know if something looks amiss.
What’s Changing Later?
Around the same time, we’ll begin making some CSS updates. This will take a few weeks while we test before we roll it out to production. This will culminate in a brand-new design towards the end of October.
What’s it Going to Look Like?
