Profiling session halted with an error

I have the java agent configured for my Tomcat application. Whenever I click Thread Profiler, I see an error:

Start a profiling session

Profiling session halted with an error

The thread profiler session on JVM xxxxx-xxxx(java:xxxx:8080) did not finish because an error occurred. Try to run a profile session on this JVM again. If you’re seeing consistent errors running profiling sessions, email support@newrelic.com and we’ll get you sorted out.

Start another profiling session

and after clicking on start another profiling session, I receive the same error.
Kindly guide me with the needful steps to resolve the issue.

It should let you start a new thread profile.

If the problem continues, I recommend grabbing verbose logging information from the Java agent while running the thread profile.
