Queries related to newrelic-infrastructure-k8s on virtual node

I am trying to explore new-relic which is providing integration with k8s as a daemon set.

as per my understanding daemon set run on each node.
Azure AKS provides concept named as a virtual node (helpful for bursting load and to reduce cost). what will be consequences in this case? how pods executed on virtual nodes will be treated. will new-relic will run the agent on our virtual node all times even when PODs are not running?

Hi @gp11
A virtual node registers itself as a node with Kubernetes API. Therefore the New Relic pod will get deployed on it. If the virtual node has no usage, you can expect below 10 millicore and 20 MByte resource usage for the New Relic pod.
