Send AWS Lambda logs to New Relic without using log forwarding (costly) and headerless logging API (tedious)

I think AWS Lambda extension could be a solution but last time I added that layer to lambda function, logs showed that it’s sending data to New Relic but I couldn’t find any logs in New Relic logs dashboard.
Since this is my first time with New Relic integration, I am still not sure what is the best approach to send logs to New Relic.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hey there @seth4,

Welcome to the community, thank you for making your first post!

I think I have some helpful documentation here to get you started on your journey for setting up these logs:AWS Lambda for sending CloudWatch logs | New Relic Documentation. If you do get this configured and are still not seeing your logs in New Relic then please follow this documentation: No log data appears in the UI | New Relic Documentation.

Please let me know if this was helpful or not and we will continue to provide assistance with anything else you need! I hope you have a great day!
