Unable to login to the original newrelic account

I am having a similar issue referenced here: Unable to login to original account

I had an original newrelic account. Since then I created a new one with the same email address and now it’s not possible for me to log in to the old account anymore. When trying to log in to newrelic, the only account I have access to is the newly created one, i.e. there is no option to even choose the old account, newrelic automatically logs in to the new one.

Is it at all possible to delete the newly created account, and perhaps restore access to the old one?
