Hi folks!
This week, starting with a few accounts, we will be changing the default behavior when you create a new alert policy. The “Correlate and suppress noise” box will now be checked by default. We will gradually enable more accounts as we hear feedback.
This is only a default setting, so you will still be able to uncheck the box if you wish.
Leaving the box checked will connect the policy to the “decisions” feature (documented at this link). This feature will intelligently group your incidents and issues, so that noise is reduced.
If you are working from
- an account in the EU datacenter who has not already consented to having your data stored in the US,
- a HIPPAA-enabled account,
- or a FedRamp account,
the behavior will not change, and the default will continue to be that this box is left unchecked.
