Feature Idea: Warning and Critical thresholds on timeseries insight graphs

I would love to have some y-axis coloured and dashed reference points on my graphs. I think it should be quiet easy to implement since its possible to do so in alerts already. I’m using a work around graphing a constant but whenever I move the cursor inside the graph it gets loose in that constant function. And I can’t make them dashed. (im also twisting the order of the querys to make the “thresholds” be the colors I want )

This is the query i’m using ATM

SELECT percentile(total_elapsed_time,99), 1500 as ‘1.5k’,2000 as ‘2k’, percentile(payments_post_v1_elapsed_time,99) FROM Transaction WHERE appId = ‘…’ AND name = ‘…’ AND provider=‘paypaxx’ AND action In (‘authorization’,‘withdraw’) AND payments_post_v1_elapsed_time IS NOT NULL TIMESERIES AUTO

New Relic Edit

  • I want this too
  • I have more info to share (reply below)
  • I have a solution for this

Hi @emiliano.gimenez - Thanks for posting in the Feature Ideas space. That’s a great feature suggestion that I’m sure a lot of people would love (myself included). I also think your workaround is fantastic, though not ideal.

I have gone ahead submitting a feature request for you, additionally I have added a poll to your post such that others can vote on this too.
