[.Net] Conditionally include New Relic footprint depending on deployment target

Hi,
I was a major contributor to opentext’s usage of new relic, and I’m now with another company and would like to adopt it here as well.

Is there a way to reduce the footprint to zero, such that I can turn off support for new relic, and avoid all agent calls to new relic (essentially turn it off completely)? The concern I have is that the agent is included as a library and I’m not sure to what extent this would be possible.

Hi, @mike.gagnon: You may set agentEnabled = false in the agent config file or via environment variable to disable the agent. See .NET agent configuration | New Relic Documentation for more information.
